DESCRIPTION

It refers to a hub of medicine known as “ulcer protectants” that is primarily used to treat gastrointestinal ulcers or peptic ulcers. It also treats heartburn, hyperacidity, gastritis, and indigestion. Usually, the stomach is protected from acid by a mucous layer. In some cases due to over-acid production, the mucous layer gets eroded, which leads to complications such as heartburn and acidity. A peptic ulcer is a sore on the stomach’s lining or the first part of the small intestine. Ulcers or sores of the stomach lining or the lining of the first part of the small intestine. Ulcers or sores of the stomach region are known as gastric ulcers, while duodenum ulcers are called duodenal ulcers.

• It is used to treat acidity, heartburn, gas, and stomach ulcers.

Interactions
